Notes on Treasure
Just a thought on the pre-PF modules. One of the largest problems matching things up with PF rules is treasure.
For instance, in the module we just finished, one of the treasure items was a “Wand of Light” which cast Light. Well, pre-PF that was a useful level 1 item, for sure. Now, it is practically worthless. Why? Well, Light is now a 0-level, which are free and can be cast over and over without ever tiring or running out, a pretty significant change from 3.5
In the upcoming one I will probably replace items like this with random treasure of the some approximately equal value. ( I ended up just allowing them to sell the wand, even though it should technically have almost zero value )
