For the children!

So, our intrepid adventurers came back, saving the town’s infected by bringing the ingredients needed for the cure.  However, everyone still seems to be depressed.  Apparently some children have gone missing!

After poking around, they find out the kids had planned to do the whole “stay in a haunted house” dare.  Well, our heroes go to check that out, and find signs that the children had been there, but were gone.  Indications of a violent struggle leave them worried for the kids’ safety, so they follow the trail back to the ruined monastery.  Having cleaned out the upper floor of monsters just days ago, they trailed the captors to their underground lair.

As it turns out, the children have been captured by kobolds and kept in a deserted, underground dwarven stronghold!

Currently, the foursome are prowling the ruined dwarven citadel, fighting off or intimidating kobolds as well as dealing with other nastiness.  They have found one of the children so far, as well as a hapless adventurer too wounded from kobold poison to continue on.
